    Hi!

I found you by way of Marjory and Gordon's Beating Breast Cancer blog and want you to know I think your blog is great. I featured it where I work at The Cancer Blog.

I am a four-year breast cancer survivor now, with very similar experiences to what you are going through, including the number of lymph nodes involved, and the choices you have made in surgery and treatments. If you ever have any questions or would just like to talk, please feel most welcome to email me personally.

    With kindest regards,
    Dalene

    Dalene,

Great to hear from you! It's so great to hear from people who've been through this
and come out the other side.
Right now I'm still in my self-proclaimed "week of denial" so I'm watching
the Oilers LOSE (durn it), and not thinking about the big C.

It's great you added my blog to your site, I'll have to check it out. And, yes,
I'm sure I'll have questions as soon as chemo rears its ugly head (next week I think)!

again, I'm really glad you wrote. this is a scary thing to go thru...

    Lorien,
I am spending this week watching the WorldCup and avoiding the "C" word as per the proclaimed International Week of Denial. Hooray! Next week I will go back to dealing with my situation since March 31st (the ole Dr couldn't call me on April Fools to break the news so, he (get this) called me at 8:00pm to drop the "C" bomb. Anyway, I'll be following your blog and feel free to check mine out at buddhafulday.blogspot.com
    In Joy,
    Barb
